Castleberry Hill Loft Tour 09

                                                                                                                                                      This past Sat and Sun my old neighborhood Castleberry hosted its annual  loft tour! I must say this year was off the hook. There were only 8 lofts but they were all distinitively differernt in style. From ultra modern to shabby chic it was all there. I love going to the tour because it gives me so much inspiration in decorating my own home. A Loft is like a blank canvas and the people who live there are the artist. Man, I truely miss having my loft! (Not the sq footage but the loft.) Design is like fashion, a blend between new and old trend to create a perfect outfit . You can tell alot about someone when you see the inside of there home. Check out the highlights below.

Another rainy day in the ATL!

Just when you think the water works were gone here comes the thunderstorms! Nothing is worse than a rainy Saturday. You work all week and expect that the weekend would be full of sunshine and you wake up to grey skies. Bummer! On the bright side, Tyson, Diesel and I will definitely catch up on our sleep. That’s until Mommy comes home!

Steve VS Crab Grass

There comes a time in man’s life where he must stand up and face his fears. Tyson vs Holyfield  , Ali vs Frazier  and last but not least Steven vs Crab Grass…..LOL. Today after work I am prepare myself for 12 rounds of mowing and ripping out weeds from my lawn. O Yea, it going to be ugly but it’s gotta be done. For the last 5 months I have avoided cutting grass due to being lazy mostly. Its just so time consuming and takes up most of my Saturday mornings. But like my father said, “With homeownership comes lawn work”. I going lace up my boots, put on my ipod and get the job done. “ Ya Dig!” Wish me luck people! I am going all in! LMAO!

New Addition to the Family

 

After 5 years of trying to have a baby my cousin Tymon and his wife made it happen! Child birth is one of those things that people take for granted. It seems like the people who really want children are the ones that struggle the most. But like they say, the best things comes to those who wait. My wife and I have so much to look forward too when we decide to start our family. (3 year from now…LOL). Its going to funny watching us turn into PARENTS. WOW, I am getting old! 

 

 

 

I'm a new mother!

 

 20 Plus hours of labor and out pops a 6lb bundle of JOY. I am pretty sure she will pregnant again within the next year. Ty always said he wanted 3 kids. Good luck mama!

Future Father (In 3 years that is)

 

 This being a parent thing may not be so bad after all. Look at me! I got it down pack in less than an hour. LOL
